HELGA LÁZÁR
Geboren 1993 in Ungarn, studierte Schauspiel-, und Puppentheaterregie an der Akademie für Theater und Filmkunst Budapest (SZFE), Figurentheater an der Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart sowie Theaterwissenschaft an der Freien Universität Berlin. Sie lebt in Leipzig und ist international als Figurenspielerin, Regisseurin und Bühnenbildnerin tätig. Von 2018 bis 2022 war sie Gastdozentin an der SZFE Budapest. 2020 begann sie ihr PhD-Studium im Bereich Theaterwissenschaft, in dem sie in ihrer Dissertation die Definitionsfragen des Figurentheaters untersucht. In ihren eigenen Stückentwicklungen erforscht sie die Grenzbereiche zwischen Körper- und Materialtheater und experimentiert mit eigens entwickelten Marionettentechniken.
